Springhill’s Nancy E. Warren returned home recently to see how her Emmy Award stacked up against an ‘Oscar’ the Springhill Community Pharmacy received from Springhill High’s now retired video awards. Warren, the daughter of Ken and Dot Warren, received the 2009 Emmy Award for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Miniseries or a Movie for her work as first assistant hairstylist in the movie Grey Gardens. With a portfolio that includes American Pie Presents Beta House and the tenth chapter in the Friday the 13th film series, Jason X, Warren was tasked with making the hair styles of actress Drew Barrymore age from a young debutante to a retired mother.
